This is a complete front wheel kit, including the wheel, its steel axle with the folding hand-crank tab, bearings and washers — everything needed to replace a bent axle, a seized bearing or a cracked wheel in one go. It is the genuine GPL/Husqvarna spare part 5816214-02, the current version of the older part 5816214-01.

Why it matters
The front wheel steers the mower and free-rolls as it turns. If the axle bends, the bearing seizes, or the wheel cracks, the mower can start pulling to one side, drag the front instead of turning smoothly, or squeal on turns. Replacing the wheel, axle and bearings together as a kit avoids fitting a new bearing onto an already worn axle, which would just wear out again quickly.
