CHCNAV CS1 Circular-Scanning Millimeter-Wave Obstacle Avoidance Radar

  • Circular scan: 360° horizontal and 50° vertical detection
  • Detects power lines, treetops, buildings and other low-visibility hazards
  • Works in rain, snow, fog, at night and under bridges (IP55)
  • Only 300 g and 3.5 W, with minimal impact on flight time

OBSTACLE AVOIDANCE

CS1 radar

See the wire before the drone does.

The CS1 is an advanced obstacle avoidance solution for the CHCNAV X500. It improves flight safety during inspection missions by detecting small obstacles such as power lines, treetops and other low-visibility objects. It is compact, lightweight and has a high level of environmental protection.

What it does

Powerful detection

Detects obstacles of various sizes, including buildings, mountains, power lines and treetops, at 2 to 35 m with accuracy of 0.1 m or better, at up to 12 m/s flight speed.

All-weather operation

Built for reliable performance in complex environments and adverse conditions: rain, snow, fog, nighttime and under-bridge inspections. IP55 and -20 to 50 °C.

Compact and light

80 × 80 × 85 mm, 300 g and 3.5 W. The small form factor makes installation simple and keeps the impact on flight endurance low.
