This is a genuine Husqvarna Automower transformer / power supply, item no. 5996773-01 – the current article number for this transformer, replacing earlier references including 5996610-01, 5931636-01, 5848625-01 and 5295326-01. It plugs into a standard wall outlet and, via the low-voltage cable, powers the charging station and generates the boundary-wire loop signal.

Built for outdoor use
An original Husqvarna transformer is weatherproof and rated to run continuously outdoors – a generic replacement is not always built to the same standard.
