Tournament-grade cut
Precision reel cutting
The reel cuts with a clean, scissor-like action that minimises leaf tearing and promotes healthier turf - the same principle as traditional fairway mowers, now autonomous.
Professional-grade striping
The rear roller lays down classic stripes with customisable widths from 700 to 5 000 mm - match your course's signature look.
Shape the turf, define the look
Adjustable mowing angles change the stripe direction between passes - checkerboards, diagonals or fresh lines for tournament week.
30,000 m² in one day
Higher efficiency, lower costs: one supervisor manages several mowers, the machine works quietly at night (below 75 dB at 3 metres), and multi-zone management moves it automatically between fairways. In practice one RCM01 maintains 3-4 fairways mowed 2-3 times a week - according to FJDynamics. RoboService plans with about 18,000 m² per charge and roughly double that per day with a battery swap – about three fairways. Capacity varies with the course and the time of the season, so we would rather plan low than high.
Hassle-free autonomy
The complete golf workflow
Scan the course once with the S2Max, set boundaries with the V4E Pro, build the course model, assign tasks - and let the fleet work: the RCM01 on fairways, the RM21P Rough Ranger in the rough. RoboService delivers and supports the whole chain.

Frequently asked questions
Does the RCM01 mow greens?
No. The cutting height range is 7-44 mm, while greens are kept at a few millimetres - greens keep their dedicated greens mower. The RCM01 is built for fairways, tees and premium sports turf.
How many fairways does one machine manage?
According to FJDynamics: typically 3-4 fairways, around 25,000-30,000 m², mowed 2-3 times per week. RoboService plans with about 18,000 m² per charge and roughly double that per day with a battery swap – about three fairways. Capacity varies with the course and the time of the season, so we would rather plan low than high.
How much does it mow on one charge?
The official maximum is 30,000 m² per charge; in FJD's field testing the machine covered more than 20,000 m² in real conditions. RoboService plans with about 18,000 m² per charge and roughly double that per day with a battery swap – about three fairways. Capacity varies with the course and the time of the season, so we would rather plan low than high.
How loud is it - can it mow at night?
Below 75 dB at 3 metres according to FJDynamics - quiet enough for night mowing, which is the standard setup on golf courses.
Can it stripe like a traditional fairway mower?
Yes - the rear roller lays stripes with widths adjustable from 700 to 5,000 mm, and the mowing angle can be changed to vary the pattern.
What does reel maintenance look like?
FJD recommends backlapping roughly every 10,000 m² mowed; under good conditions the interval can stretch to 20,000-25,000 m². RoboService handles service and spare blades in Sweden.
How does the battery system work?
8 kWh capacity with fast battery swapping gives up to 10 hours of operation, recharged in 5 hours. The batteries are shared with the RM21 family, so a mixed fleet swaps spares freely.
What happens under trees where GPS disappears?
LiDAR takes over: navigation continues with high precision even in signal-obstructed areas - no missed strips along tree lines.
Is it safe around players and golf carts?
Front and rear bumpers plus LiDAR obstacle avoidance stop the machine for people, vehicles and obstacles. Most clubs schedule mowing at night or early morning.
What is needed for the RTK navigation?
An NTRIP correction service over 4G - RoboService runs its own RoboRTK network, so the whole chain comes from one supplier.
How is the course mapped?
Scan once with the FJD Trion S2Max, define boundaries and no-go zones with the V4E Pro, and the model drives zones and routes for the whole fleet.
RCM01 and RM21P - how do they fit together?
They are the golf pair: the RCM01 cylinder-mows fairways and tees, the RM21P handles rough, semi-rough and the accessory jobs. We dimension the fleet per course with a zone map in the quote.
Is training included?
Start-up, installation and training packages are part of our golf offering, and RoboService supports in Swedish through the season.
Can we see it before deciding?
Yes - book a demo and we will show the RCM01 at work. The first Swedish installations are already running.
Fairway quality, autonomous - quoted with a zone map
RoboService dimensions your course: we map the zones, size the fleet (RCM01 + RM21P), train your team and support in Swedish through the season.
For business customers: lease from 235 SEK per day (7 150 SEK/month, 60-month leasing via Siemens Financial Services). A one-time startup fee for delivery, installation, mapping and training is added. Contact us for a quote.
