Almost certainly, yes. FJDynamics has autosteering solutions for roughly 98% of all machines — regardless of brand, model year, or whether the tractor is factory-prepared or not. There are three ways in:
1. Steering wheel motor (AT2 series)
An electric motor replaces or mounts onto the steering wheel. No hydraulics and no manufacturer preparation required — which is why it fits almost any tractor, including older models with no electronics at all. The whole AT2 series (Lite, AT2, MAX, Ultra) is built on this principle. The installation is reversible: the kit moves with you to your next tractor.
2. Hydraulic integration (AH2/AH2MAX)
Steering connects directly into the tractor's hydraulic steering circuit via a valve. Quieter and faster than a wheel motor — the steering wheel stays still while the wheels steer. Requires valve installation and suits tractors and self-propelled machines where you want a permanent, invisible solution. AH2MAX comes in three valve variants for different hydraulic systems.
3. Steer Ready (AS2 series)
If your tractor is factory-prepared ("Steer Ready" / "AutoGuidance ready"), you need neither wheel motor nor valve — AS2 connects straight to the tractor's own steering electronics. Ready-made harnesses exist for CNH/Steyr, Massey Ferguson/Valtra/JCB/Deutz-Fahr and Fendt/McCormick/Landini/Kubota.
Combine harvester or self-propelled machine? Yes — FJD Steer Ready AS2 and AH2MAX are also used on combines, self-propelled sprayers and other self-propelled machines. Same principle: factory preparation means AS2, otherwise hydraulic integration.

More than steering: the farm's digital command center
FieldFusion — free farm management
Every FJD system connects to FieldFusion, FJDynamics' cloud-based Farm Management System. The base tier is free — permanently, not a trial: draw field boundaries, create AB lines and curves, and track your inventory of seed, fertilizer and crop protection. Tasks you create at the kitchen table sync to the terminal in the cab with one click, and after the job everything is logged: time, area, tracks, deviations.
The paid tiers (Professional/Advanced) unlock prescription maps for variable rate application: soil maps and yield data become prescription files the AT2 executes, zone by zone — more where it's needed, less where it isn't.
Digital spray journal — the 2026 and 2027 requirements
From January 1, 2026, new documentation requirements apply to Swedish spray journals (including the product registration number, per EU regulation 2023/564). From January 1, 2027, the journal must be kept digitally, with records retained for three years. The requirements cover all professional use: agriculture, greenhouses, nurseries — and golf courses.

What it's like to own an FJD system
We sell these systems every week and support them every day — here is what ownership actually looks like, advantages and limitations included.
The advantages
- The price. A complete FJD kit costs a fraction of the established brand systems — entry kits from under SEK 40,000, complete AT2 kits from just under SEK 56,000.
- The openness. NTRIP/RTCM is an open standard: the system works with RoboService's RTK network, SWEPOS or your own base station — no locked-in brand subscription.
- The portability. The kit follows you, not the tractor. When you change machines, the system moves with you — especially valuable for contractors.
- The repeatability. Guidance lines, field boundaries and maps persist season after season — the foundation for controlled traffic farming and row cropping.
- Software included. FieldFusion's base tier is free forever, and the documentation you get with it matters more every year heading into 2027.
- Swedish support. Installation, training and phone support from RoboCenter in Svedala and Dalarna — you call someone who knows where your farm is.
The limitations — honestly
- RTK signal is required for full precision. 2.5 cm accuracy requires a correction source: an RTK subscription (from SEK 6,000/year), your own base station, or StarNav. Without correction, precision is considerably coarser.
- The wheel motor is audible and visible. In the AT2 series the steering wheel physically turns as the system steers. It doesn't bother everyone — but if you want completely silent operation, hydraulic integration (AH2) is the way, at the cost of a bigger installation.
- Installation and calibration take time. Expect a few hours of fitting plus calibration per tractor. We do it for you, or teach you to do it yourself.
- Separate terminal. The FJD screen is its own unit in the cab — it does not integrate into the tractor's factory display. The upside: it moves between machines with the kit.
- 4G is needed for network RTK. Patchy coverage is bridged by the IMU during short dropouts, but longer gaps call for StarNav (satellite-based correction) or your own base station.
- Parts of the ecosystem are in English. The terminal supports Swedish, but parts of FieldFusion and the documentation are still English-only.
Frequently asked questions about autosteering
What does tractor autosteering cost?
The entry-level FJD AG1 Pro sits under SEK 40,000, and complete AT2 kits start just under SEK 56,000. Add a correction source for full precision — an RTK subscription from SEK 6,000/year, or your own base station (one-off cost from about SEK 21,000). Compare that with established brand systems that often cost several times more, plus pricier annual subscriptions.
Does FJD work with John Deere, Fendt, Valtra or my older tractor?
Yes. The AT2 series wheel motor works on almost any tractor regardless of brand and age — even machines with no electronics at all. For factory-prepared ("Steer Ready") tractors there is AS2 with ready-made harnesses for CNH/Steyr, MF/Valtra/JCB/Deutz-Fahr and Fendt/McCormick/Landini/Kubota. Does it work on a combine harvester?
Yes. Steer Ready-prepared combines run AS2/AS2 MAX; others are fitted with hydraulic integration via AH2MAX. Same RTK signal and same FieldFusion account as your tractors.
Do I need an RTK subscription?
For full 2.5 cm precision, yes — or your own base station. RoboService runs its own CORS network covering Skåne and Blekinge (from SEK 6,000/year, software license included). NTRIP is an open standard, so SWEPOS and other providers work too. The AT2 series also offers StarNav: satellite-delivered correction with no mobile network at all.
What's the difference between AT2 Lite, AT2, AT2 MAX and AT2 Ultra?
Same steering principle (wheel motor + RTK), different terminal and feature level. Lite is the entry model with the essentials. AT2 is the standard kit with a 10-inch screen — our best seller. MAX has a 12.1-inch screen and higher performance. Ultra tops out with a 16-inch screen and an AI voice assistant. All four achieve 2.5 cm RTK accuracy and share the same ecosystem.
How long does installation take?
An AT2 kit is normally fitted in a few hours: wheel motor, terminal, antenna and cabling, followed by calibration. Steer Ready installations (AS2) are often faster since no wheel motor is needed. We install for you, or train you to do it yourself at RoboCenter.
What happens if 4G coverage drops mid-field?
Short dropouts are bridged automatically by the system's IMU (inertial navigation) — the tractor stays on the line. For areas with persistently weak coverage we recommend StarNav (correction via satellite, no connectivity required) or your own base station broadcasting locally over radio.
Is FJD ISOBUS compatible?
Yes. With ISOBUS activations (TC-SC for section control, TC-GEO for variable rate, AUX-N for joystick control) and the right harness, the FJD terminal controls your ISOBUS implements directly — section shutoff on the sprayer, variable rate on the spreader. We help you pick the right harness for your tractor.
Can I move the system between tractors?
Yes — it's one of FJD's big advantages. The wheel motor, terminal and antenna move to the next machine, and an extra mounting kit for "tractor two" turns the swap into a half-hour job. Calibration is redone per tractor, and all your guidance lines stay in the account.
What do I actually gain from autosteering?
Manual driving typically produces 5–10% overlap; autosteering brings it down to around one percent. The difference is diesel, seed, fertilizer and crop protection that would otherwise be applied twice — all season long. For a 50-hectare farm that often means SEK 15,000–20,000 per year, before counting the time saved.
